7/19/07 upper New River with the fly rod

On the water today with Steve S. and Justin s. of Charlotte, NC. Most of the day the fish were hitting on top except for about a 2 hour period where we had to throw streamers. No real monsters but Justin did have a BIG, 19-20 incher, come up on his streamer and smallmouth just missed it or changed his mind at the last minute one, but we had a 16 incher and several 14-15 inchers and landed 30-35 fish all on the fly rod, not a bad day
