Adjustments Have To Be Made When The New River Dictates It.

Fished with Ed and Andrew, both clients of Tri-State Angler today and as the title did imply we had to make some adjustments. Was to be a full day but the water was getting more stained as the morning went along so we changed our game plan and went for a half day instead. The change in plan wasn’t because the fish weren’t biting, it was because the method of fly fishing changed. Most of the fish were taken on streamers which will make a person very tired very quickly. We kept count and ended the half day with 21 fish total, with a few on top water. Andrew is pictured below with one of his better fish caught on top water on a 9 ft 7wt bamboo rod he owns. Thanks guys for a respectable numbers day and a good time as usual.
