Cloudy, Cool and Windy Big Fish Day! 7/2/09

First off let me say I’m sorry about being very slack on my guide reports. I’ve been very, very busy both on and off the water and I don’t think I’ve done any reports this year but Thursday’s trip had to be reported. I fished Thursday and Friday with Max “Musky Man “ Altman and his wife Monica Altman. This trip was to celebrate Max’ retirement and he did a good job. Max and Monica are dedicated largemouth bass anglers with Monica a mamber of the Women’s Bass Tour. Both days were tough days for big numbers of fish but Thursday was a big fish day. Both days were cool, overcast and windy making for tough conditions. Max landed 2 muskies and two 19 inch smallies and Monica added a musky on thursday along with many other smallmouth as well. Thanks to both Max and Monica and congratulations Max on your retirement!
