Welcome to Tri-State Angler guide service. Our guides specialize in fly fishing float and wade trips for trout and smallmouth bass. We guide on the Watauga, South Holston and New rivers as well as numerous smaller wild trout streams in east Tennessee, western North Carolina and southwest Virginia. We have also added Lake Erie tributary steelhead trips that must be experienced to be believed! Our fly fishing guides are seasoned veterans with many years experience guiding in these waters; we cater to seasoned anglers as well as providing patient, understanding instruction to beginners. Fly Tying Class 1/15-16/08 at Carolina Mtn. Sports

I will be teaching a 2 night fly tying class entitled “Innovative Tying Techniques and Materials” at Carolina Mtn. Sports in downtown Statesville, NC. Classes will be held Jan. 15th and 16th starting at 7pm and running until app. 9pm both nights. You will need a vise, tools and thread, all other materials will be provided.
