Incredible Day Catching Brown and Rainbow Trout in Wild Trout Water

Me and three good friends hit another couple wild trout streams in the Avery area and what a day it was. The day was divided between two streams but the results were the same a lot of browns and rainbows, better than average size (8-12 mostly with a few 14 1/2 inch fish), and hard fighting to boot. TR, in the second picture, has the rainbow trout that took him down 3 pools before I netted it for him. This wild fish was measured at 13 1/2 inches. All mine and TR’s fish were caught on nymphs but Scott and Jamie got into a hatch and caught several on dries. Great day, period!
