July Was A Good Month For Smallmouth Bass

Barry got his father Kent a float trip as a gift for his retirement so we hit the New River to see if we could flush out some Smallmouth Bass. Both Barry and Kent fished hard all day and ended up with forty plus fish and some nice fish. Barry shows off a nice smallie that was hefty and the big fish of the day, for about fifteen minutes. Kent turned around after a little smack take from his son and landed a 19 incher. It was a slug fest till the end with both men trying to out fish, and out smack talk the other. These family floats can be a hoot for sure. Thanks guys for a great day.
