Poly-Humpy Pattern Even More Buoyant

December 30th, 2006 - Posted by Jeff

This is the old Humpy Pattern that most of you have probably tied over the years to use in choppy water. The use of poly-yarn for the hump part and the wings is easier in my opinion to use and makes it float even better than before. This is a great indicator pattern and will go under in rough water and pop back up to the surface. A size 12 dry will easily carry two bead head nymphs even if the first is weighted.
