Playing Hooky From Church/Blessed With A Good Day

Try not to guide on Sundays but had a couple guys call about going over to the Watauga because of a guide unable to take them to the Clinch River due to the generation schedule. Although we didn’t hook any big Clinch River browns we did have a really fine day with some big rainbows. Thanks to both of these excellent fly fisherman for a wonderful day. I also have a new pattern to add to my fly box thanks to one of the fellas’ and I dubbed it “Johnny’s Christmas Tree” because of the colors of the nymph. Thanks again guys for a great day and hope to see ya’ soon for that small mouth bass trip we talked about.
