Kelly of http://Rivergirlfishing.com with her first Watauga Rainbow. Kelly and Amy are located in historical Todd, North Carolina which is not but a few minutes from Boone, and they are right on the South Fork of the New River. Kelly and Amy are just getting started this spring so if you are in the area go by and see them. They have fishing equipment rentals, wading boots, waders, pontoon rentals-great for fly fishing, fly rods, reels, etc. If you need equipment because you forgot your own or want to see if fly fishing is as much fun as it looks, but don’t want to sink alot of money into it before you try it, this is the place to go. Rental prices are very affordable. TSA and Rivergirl will have intro to fly casting/specialized cast and reading water classes the last Saturday of each month on the New and small streams in the immediate area. TSA are the official guides for their shop.
