The caddis are gone but the Watauga is still fishing great! 4/27/07

We had another great day on the Watauga River tailwater! We had a group trip with Ed, Shawn, & Gorden of Charlotte, NC and Mack from southwest VA. What a great group of guys! I think Jeff and myself had as good of a time as these guys. Fishing was good with fish taking nymphs all day. Not sure of the numbers but Shawn, who was a first-time fly fisher, kept count of his fish and he landed 14 and losing almost as many. Ed sandbagged on us waiting until almost the end to land the big fish of the day, a beautiful pig of a rainbow, way to go Ed! Thanks guys!
