Unexpected good day on the New River 4/6/07

With freezing temps in the morning on the 5th and 6th, I looked for the bite to be tough but Good Friday was good to us. We had steady action almost all day with the approaching front. It was snowing about 45 minutes after we took off the river. We had a 20 inch citation sized smallmouth, 18 incher, 2- 16inchers, a 15 incher and several smaller fish.
