Welcome to Tri-State Angler guide service. Our guides specialize in fly fishing float and wade trips for trout and smallmouth bass. We guide on the Watauga, South Holston and New rivers as well as numerous smaller wild trout streams in east Tennessee, western North Carolina and southwest Virginia. We have also added Lake Erie tributary steelhead trips that must be experienced to be believed! Upper New River 7/23/07 Big fish day on the fly rod!

Fished the upper New today and it was a great day landing 30-35 fish with a citation smallmouth, a little over 20 inches, an 18 incher, a couple of 16 inchers and several in the 13-15 inch range. North Carolina Fly Fishing
