Welcome to Tri-State Angler guide service. Our guides specialize in fly fishing float and wade trips for trout and smallmouth bass. We guide on the Watauga, South Holston and New rivers as well as numerous smaller wild trout streams in east Tennessee, western North Carolina and southwest Virginia. We have also added Lake Erie tributary steelhead trips that must be experienced to be believed! Watauga tailwater 11/8/07 Great ladies, big trout!

Floated the Watauga tailwater in East Tennessee with regular customers, sisters Lissa and Nancy from South Carolina and Statesville, NC. An awesome day on the water! Very cold to start with but warmed up a little later. We had tough luck with big fish early with both Lissa and Nancy both losing a big fish in the morning but Nancy found redemption with this big brown! Thanks ladies! North Carolina Fly Fishing
